Head to Griffin’s Reach and speak with the basic trainer there to unlock it. Once that’s done, make your way to Arrakeen and find the advanced Trooper trainer, Kara. She’s standing on the second floor in front of a set of engraved doors with a suspensor light floating above her. Talking to her starts the advanced Trooper quest.
Find the Transmitters
Kara asks you to retrieve some transmitters from a slaver base called the Sweep, located just north of the Eastern Vermillius Gap. Clear out the base and head to the top floor. There, read the open book next to a lamp on the table to gain intel on the transmitters. Then loot the enemies you’ve killed until you find two transmitters. Return them to Kara in Arrakeen, but they won’t work for her—she’ll send you to a contact named Tuco instead.
